Stand-Up Comedy Biography

Jim began performing in 2005 in his hometown of Washington DC.  In 2008 he relocated to Dublin, Ireland, where he quickly became a firm favourite amongst Irish comedy audiences.  He now appears regularly in Dublin at the Laughter Lounge, International Comedy Club, and the Comedy Crunch; Galway’s Roisin Dubh; and and the Empire in Belfast. Jim is also a regular on Newstalk FM Drivetime.  He has performed at the Sky Cat Laughs festival in Kilkenny and the Vodafone Comedy Festival in Dublin, as well as all the major music festivals (Longitude, Forbidden Fruit, and Body & Soul).  He’s opened for Reginald D Hunter, Andrew Maxwell, PJ Gallagher, Seann Walsh, Chris Martin, John Moloney, and Karl Spain; in 2014 he even appeared in a Rubberbandits video.

Radio: In 2016 Jim wrote and narrated several political pieces for Newstalk FM on the subject of the US and Irish elections.  Since then he’s appeared on Newstalk’s Drivetime segment “Good Week, Bad Week”.  You can listen to clips of all of that here.

TV: In December of 2013 Jim appeared in a music video by the Rubberbandits; the video debuted on RTE2’s Republic of Telly. So, uh, this counts as a TV credit.  YEAH!

Stage Acting:  In 2011 Jim appeared in Shift Theatre Company‘s production of Laughter on the 23rd Floor. (photos)
